Do you want your child to increase their skills and make a successful transition into kindergarten?
The Head Start Program is a child-focused, learn through play program for children 3 1/2 – 5 years old.
The overall goals are to increase children’s social, emotional, cognitive, creative, gross and fine motor skills, and support healthy early childhood development.
The Program also offers health and dental services for children. All families who have a child registered in the Head Start Program also receive Family Support Services.
The Head Start Program is offered at two different locations:
- Norwood Child and Family Resource Centre, 9516 – 114 Avenue, Edmonton; and
Rundle School, 11005 – 34 Street, Edmonton
Classes operate Tuesday – Friday from September to August
AM class: 9:30 AM – 12:15 PM
PM class: 1:30 PM – 4:15 PM
