About Us
Norwood Centre has been a gathering place for Edmonton families for more than 60 years, where we work with children, caregivers, and other family members to support optimal child development, strengthen healthy relationships and well-being, break cycles of adversity, and empower people to successfully navigate change and life challenges.
Our programs and services are available to families throughout Edmonton, in a variety of locations. Importantly, we recognize each family is unique, and we place high importance on providing inclusive services that respect families’ unique cultures, backgrounds, identities, and traditions.
Land Acknowledgement
At Norwood Centre, we gather on land that has long been home for many Indigenous peoples. We acknowledge this land on which we live and work as Treaty 6 and ancestral home to the Cree, Dene, Blackfoot, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, Métis, and Inuit peoples.
We recognize the rich history on this land, and we dedicate ourselves to moving forward in the spirit of partnership, collaboration, and reconciliation.
